PROFILE - Jane Findlay

I studied textiles at Leeds University and I enjoyed a career with major high street retailers before setting up my own business as a textile artist.

I now live in rural Scotland with my family and transfer my inspirations on to silks and other fabrics.

I love colour and enjoy working with the different paints, watching them run and blend together to create the special watercolour effects only possible by hand painting, and finishing by texturing the design using salt and other techniques.

Creative activities offer so much fun, particularly for children, so I have produced Party Packs, available by post, for clients to run their own fabric painting party and can offer to lead Craft Parties myself within Renfrewshire.
