“It’s important that people have a good time at a wedding. Standing around for an hour or more in the cold just to line up and be asked to smile is not my idea of fun”

Telling good stories is at the very heart of LightScape's work. We have always used photography to capture narratives and preserve them for the future.

We believe capturing the essence of a wedding works best when no-one notices the photographer at all. And a portrait of two friends chatting animatedly over a glass of champagne is much more fun to look back on than trying to pick out the same two people in a classic ‘friends of the bride and groom’ line up shot.

Firstly, a unique and very personal account of what happened and how much people enjoyed themselves at your wedding – and secondly a day that isn’t constantly interrupted by someone asking you and your guests to drop everything for yet another set of photographs.”
